Upgrit – Supplements
Packaging systems, illustrations and visual assets developed to make complex health products feel clear, credible and easy to navigate.
The work focused on evolving and extending the existing Upgrit packaging system across new products, formats and communication needs. The challenge was to balance scientific credibility and premium health positioning with clarity on shelf and in digital commerce, while helping customers quickly understand function, ingredients and category differences.

The assignments included packaging artwork, illustration work, icon systems, line extensions and product mockups used across launch material, e-commerce and brand communication. The visual direction aimed to support Upgrit’s philosophy around functional nutrition and informed health choices, translating technical product information into a more accessible and recognisable consumer experience.
The challenge
The supplement category is crowded with products that often look either overly clinical or visually interchangeable. Upgrit needed packaging that could communicate expertise and trust while remaining approachable, modern and scalable across multiple categories and future product launches.
The insight
For health-conscious consumers, packaging functions as both navigation and reassurance. Clear hierarchy, recognisable systems and visual consistency help reduce friction in a category where customers are often comparing ingredients, benefits and dosage at speed.
Idea & execution
The work further refined the packaging structure supported by icon systems, refined typography and a more unified visual language across the assortment. Product mockups and supporting visual assets were also developed to strengthen communication across digital channels and brand presentations.
Output & result
The result was a more cohesive packaging system that helped strengthen brand recognition while supporting future assortment growth and clearer customer navigation across the product portfolio.
