Bageri Skogaholm — Next Generation Packaging

Design and artwork for four new bread products under the classic Swedish brand Bageri Skogaholm, redefining the visual direction of the range and setting the foundation for a broader brand refresh.

I designed and produced packaging for four new products within the Bageri Skogaholm portfolio — a brand strongly associated with Swedish everyday bread and iconic products like Skogaholmslimpan. The challenge was to position the new range clearly within a crowded category, aligning visually with competing products while still strengthening Skogaholm’s own identity.

The project became an early step toward a larger rebranding effort. These packages introduced a more contemporary visual language and established what became the next generation of Skogaholm packaging — moving the brand away from a previously plain and understated expression toward a richer, more appetising shelf presence.

The production phase also explored new flexographic printing possibilities. By using advanced techniques such as double white ink layers beneath photographic elements on plastic film, we achieved stronger color depth and sharper imagery, allowing product photography to stand out with greater clarity and impact.

The work combined concept development, detailed artwork, close collaboration with printers, and hands-on production oversight to ensure both visual quality and technical precision.
