Swecon Gotland Grand National

A documentary-driven film and behind-the-scenes project introducing Swecon’s 2024 GGN rider and the use of fully electric machines — directed with focus on preparation, inclusion and modern performance.

This project introduces Swecon’s rider for the Gotland Grand National 2024, while highlighting the use of fully electric equipment across both motorsport and infrastructure.

The film connects Swecon’s electric machines preparing the tracks with Anna Palander training on the all-electric Stark VARG. Rather than showing the race, the focus is on preparation, mindset and intention — presenting electrification as a natural part of modern performance.

Alongside the sporting context, Anna encourages more women to enter the world of motorcycling, using her own journey to lower the threshold for participation. The accompanying behind-the-scenes material highlights my directing approach, from working in active environments to shaping authentic interviews.
