Transavia Team Thuisbrengers (homecoming team)
Transavia created Team Thuisbrengers, a five-part branded content series documenting the journey to collect a new Boeing 737-800 from the Boeing factory in Seattle. The series follows a group of selected travellers and the crew, including Dutch creator Gio, from the initial departure to the aircraft’s arrival in the Netherlands – showing how even carefully planned productions can be shaped by real-world challenges and delays.
Transavia is welcoming a new Boeing 737-800 – but first, it has to be collected from the Boeing factory in Seattle. To mark the occasion, Transavia formed Team Thuisbrengers: a group of winners who join the crew on a unique journey to bring the aircraft home.
The series follows the entire story, from surprising the winners and touring the Boeing factory to meeting the new aircraft for the first time and finally landing back in the Netherlands.
Team Thuisbrengers travels from Schiphol to Seattle, marking the start of the journey to collect Transavia’s new Boeing 737-800.

In episode three, Gio and Team Thuisbrengers explore Seattle before heading to the Boeing factory for the first time. The episode sets the scene for the core part of the production, shifting focus from travel to the start of the factory experience.

In episode four, Gio and Team Thuisbrengers visit the Museum of Flight in Seattle, the world’s largest independent aviation and spaceflight museum. The episode adds historical context and aviation insight ahead of the upcoming factory visit.

Episode five documents the arrival of Transavia’s new Boeing 737-800 in the Netherlands. The episode takes viewers into the cockpit, features an interview with the pilot, and captures the aircraft’s official welcome at the airport. Gio also receives a private tour of the new aircraft.
Episode six follows the new Boeing 737-800 on its first commercial flight. The aircraft enters service immediately, taking passengers to their first destination. Gio joins the flight, documents the experience, and briefly visits the cockpit.
